OUR HISTORY

Mount Pleasant Cemetery was developed in 1830. While we are an older facility, we give loving care for those interred here and have several acres for future development.

The cemetery is officially named Mount Pleasant Greenwood Cemetery Association Inc. The cemetery is not for Profit Corporation under Indiana Business Law. This structure allows us to focus on the needs of our lot owners and to operate with future needs in the forefront of our plans.

The day-to-day operations of the cemetery is the responsibility of our sexton and our office manager. They are available to work with lot owners and perspective lot owners on any concerns or requirements they may have.
